HI! I'm a 60+ Certified Yoga Instructor, retired O.R. Nurse, Martial Arts Teacher, Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist.


I started studying YOGA as a child in the 60's and began teaching in 1999. I am Certified by a school in INDIA (Delhi Yoga) and qualify for registration with the Yoga Alliance of America at the Advanced Level; 


I have studied under more than 200 different yoga teachers over 50 years (I made a point of working with EVERY INSTRUCTOR at every school I have ever been!). Styles studied include Kripalu, Sivananda, Iyengar, Bikrams, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Hatha, Yin, Pranayama, Power Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Ashtanga. 


TODAY I enjoy teaching my own style of yoga with an emphasis on LONG HOLDS, for relaxing after workout stretches that help maintain flexibility at any age.


I am also a BLACK BELT registered with the American Federation of Jiu Jitsu (30 years Karate, 9 years Taekwondo, 8 years Muay Thai, and 2 years Jiu Jitsu). 2020 is my 48th year of martial arts practice! 


Other martial arts I've studied include Shin Toshi, Boxing, Tai Chi Chuan, Kenpo, Aikido, Kung Fu, Kali, Silat, Jeet Kune do, and Capoeira.
