Hi! I am a 60+ year old Certified Yoga Teacher and Martial Arts Instructor. Here you will find my at home and at the gym Yoga practice. To maintain SPORTS FLEXIBILITY I have developed my own LONG HOLD “Yin” style of yoga with 30 second to 1 minute stretches. This also helps to counter joint and muscle pain as we age. YOGA: I have studied Yoga since 1967 and am Certified by Delhi Yoga in India, qualifying for Registration with the Yoga Alliance of America at the Advanced Level. MARTIAL ARTS: I am also a Black Belt Registered with the American Federation of Jiu Jitsu; 2020 is my 48th year of martial arts practice (studying up to Black Belt in 4 different styles). I have 30 years of Karate, 9 years of Taekwondo, 8 years of Muay Thai, and am now working towards my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. I am also an O.R. Nurse (Military Trained); Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist (through NESTA - The National Endurance Sports Training Association); and a former Physical Therapist.
